Dog Transport Volunteers provide the critical logistics that move urgent and medically vulnerable dogs between the shelter, veterinary appointments, and approved rescue or foster placements. Reliable transportation directly increases a dog's chance of receiving timely medical care and reaching safety before space or time runs out.
Foster Volunteers
Foster Volunteers open their homes to shelter dogs awaiting medical treatment, recovery, or rescue transfer. A stable foster environment reduces stress on the animal, supports accurate behavioral assessment, and frees critical shelter capacity for the next dog in urgent need.
Adoption Event Volunteers
